As a Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef, my journey began in the fast-paced bakeries of London. After learning a huge amount, I returned to the countryside and established Piper’s Bakery - an independent vegan bakery specialising in beautiful wedding cakes, birthday cakes and celebration cakes.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll usually find me outdoors. Nature is where I feel most inspired - the ever changing colours, textures, and patterns of the landscape often find their way into my cakes, whether through hand-painted details or subtle, natural palettes.
I care deeply about how my cakes are made, as well as how they look and taste. Using organic flour and sustainable practices is important to me, to try and help protect our British wildlife and countryside that inspire so much of my work.
Above all, I want every cake to feel special. I don’t believe in “good enough.” I take pride in creating something thoughtful, beautifully crafted, and genuinely delicious for every wedding, birthday and celebration.
