Hello, I’m Catherine
In college, my passion for cake-making flourished as a stress reliever from long assignments. I chose to turn down a psychology degree to train at Le Cordon Bleu, London, becoming a classical pastry chef.
After gaining experience at various London bakeries, I returned to Somerset to open my own wedding and celebration cake studio.
I take inspiration from nature, combining beautiful watercolour and pallet knife artistry with mouthwatering flavours to create your truly unique cake.
Anything from wildflowers to rewilding books or a vintage dress pattern can spark my creativity.
When I'm not baking or painting, you'll find me on a walk with my handsome German Shepherd, Odin, enjoying nature.
I love playing the piano to unwind, and I'm a macrame enthusiast, creating quirky pieces for my home. Plus, I’m always hunting for hidden gems in charity shops to spark my next creative project!
I create bespoke cakes to bring smiles to faces and make their day even more memorable. Each cake I design reflects my customers unique personalities, making it as special as the occasion itself.
Planning a wedding or celebration can feel like a daunting task, and so I strive to support my customers through every step of their cake journey, making the process stress-free and exciting.
Sustainability and animal welfare are in my heart. I will only use carefully selected ingredients which are free from any animal products, and I will only use eco-friendly packaging.
To give back to our beautiful nature world, I donate to Heal Somerset, a local rewilding charity, with every wedding cake I create.
